Started out with first bid of $75 for 4* in USE based on other bids won. Declined.

Continuted to add re-bid zone after zone (all other zones with no 4* properties) up to $98 with no luck.

Not desparate enough to bid 3* hotels based on some of the reviews.

Ran out of re-bid zones so in desparation I added USW finguring we might just have to walk a ways. Finally was accepted at $102.

Things must be busy in the city this Friday. Probably my fault for waiting so long.

Not a great bargin by any stretch, but certainly better than any other rate I found.

Your topic title shows the USE zone, but i'm going to edit to the USW zone, can you confirm?

What was the amount of your highest previously rejected bid?

You are right that the bid won was the Hilton in USW. For some reason I thought it was the Hilton in the USE region but on closer look it was the West.

$98 was the highest rejected bid until I added USW. Very possible I could have gotten USW for much less than $102, but there was nothing in USE for under $98 for that night.
