Question about booking a non-bid room on Priceline & 2 beds.

So I booked a "Waterfront Queen Room with Two Queen Beds" on Priceline earlier. Afterwards, I noticed the issue about double occupancy and people possibly getting screwed out of having 2 beds in the room. My question is, are these people most likely those who have gotten their rooms via bidding and the like? I did not choose how many people were to be in my room, but I did specifically choose the "Two Queen Beds" room over the regular Waterfront room that only has one bed, which is costing me $70 more. So I should be fine and be expecting to definitely have two beds, correct? I'm just making sure because all of this stuff I've read online is making me weary.

In light of the above, please share your win/purchase with the board... was this a 'retail' purchase where you knew the hotel name beforehand? (or part of their new 'Deals Express' service where the price is shown but not the name of the hotel?)

Yes, this was a retail purchase and I'm asking on here because I don't know where else to ask.

The bidding side of the service does not guarantee a particular bedding type, and only ensures double occupancy/1 bed. If you booked retail and selected two beds, there shouldn't be an issue.
