Roadguy Posted July 31, 2012 Report Posted July 31, 2012 I *THINK* thats the Hapuna Prince, and I would GUESS Mauna Lani for the 4.5*. Off the top of my head, what beachfronts are left in the map area? Just...Fairmont & Mauna Kea? In that case, I hope Im wrong. Hapuna has some Terrace rooms with a poor view, but when I got there they let me upgrade to an OV for a minimal charge. Great Beach, good hotel

LoisW Posted August 6, 2012 Author Report Posted August 6, 2012 Would these guesses be the same for PRICELINE also?
thereuare Posted August 7, 2012 Report Posted August 7, 2012 No, PRICELINE and HOTWIRE are two different services, each with their own inventory. Each service may use a different star rating for the same hotel as well as draw the zone boundaries differently for any given region. With PRICELINE there is no way to take a guess as to the property you're likely to receive, you must be willing to accept any hotel in the zone at the star level (or higher) that you select. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help.
