Hey everyone,

We are hoping to get 3 rooms in a 5* for check in October 18 and check out October 21, 2012. I was searching (using these links) and saw Venetian was around $350 and Palazzo was $230. Using priceline and bidding do you think we would be able to get a room at Palazzo for less than $200 a night? Not quite sure how to proceed. Vdara/Aria/Bellagio would also be enjoyable! Our goal is to keep the total for all three rooms lower than $2,000 if that helps. Any tips on this particular stay would be appreciated!

Thanks so much!

I'm sorry I didn't know I was supposed to do that. Thanks for letting me know - I took care of closing that thread with a response on what we ended up doing.

For your dates i'm seeing the Palazzo for $299 but on sale for $269 at Hotels.com

Are you still seeing the $230/nite rate? Is that the 'regular' rate or does it indicate that is a discount from the standard rate?

As well, even if available at $230, there is no guarantee that you would receive the Palazzo when bidding... you could receive any 5* hotel in the Strip North zone.

I'll also add that you could likely get a 5* hotel in the Strip South zone for less than $150/nite... is the Strip North zone (or the Palazzo) the only acceptable zone/hotel?

Hello!

I don't see the $230 anymore. I think they had a promo for 20% off that may have expired. I would be happy with any 5* possibility. I would definitely be interested in trying to get a 5* in the south strip as well. I've investigated this all before (as you see) but have not actually attempted to bid on a room. Would you be able to help me know where to start? I read about the rebidding and I think you've said there are 11 zones to bid/rebid?

Thanks again!

Yes, there are ELEVEN re-bid zones when bidding 5* in Las Vegas... if you've read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained, are you able to use the techniques there to identify your re-bid zones? If not, just post back and we'll break it down further for you.
