Could you help identify these hotels. I'd like to get close to the boardwalk if possible.

My guess for the 3.5* would be the Founders Inn, while the 3* may be either the Hilton Garden Inn Town Center or Holiday Inn Executive Center

15 miles from beach. Kids eat free. Not a high end hotel, clean, good size rooms with fridge & microwave. Outdoor pool is only 5ft deep. Virginia Beach area in hotwire description is misleading as beach is a long way away.

Sorry to hear this property wasn't well located for your plans, but it sounds as if it other worked for your needs. With both PRICELINE and HOTWIRE, the zone boundaries shown on the map should always be checked since your hotel can be anywhere within this area, regardless of the name of the zone.
