jimithing78 Posted July 28, 2012 Report Posted July 28, 2012 Hi, I'm planning a trip to San Francisco and need some help understanding how I should bid. Priceline only guarantees double occupancy. I assume that means two adults, right? My wife and I are bringing our two year old daughter. It would be nice if it was two queen beds but we can deal with a king if that's what happens. We'd like like a 4* hotel in the Union Square East, Union Square West, SOMA and if necessary we could add the Financial District. If at all possibly we'd like to keep the price less than $200/night. Is that a reasonable expectation? If anyone has a strategy I'm all ears and will be sure to use the links to get to Priceline. Thanks in advance.

thereuare Posted July 28, 2012 Report Posted July 28, 2012 Rates are fairly high for these dates, if you are successful it will likely be closer to your $200 limit.Did you want to only bid USE, USW and SOMA up to your $200 limit, then if rejected try again while including the Financial District... or is your goal the least expensive 4* hotel in any of these four zones and ALL FOUR zones should be included from the start? Please confirm and we'll suggest a strategy for you to follow. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. jimithing78 Posted July 28, 2012 Author Report Posted July 28, 2012 I'd like to start with USE, USW and SOMA up to $200 and then if nothing is available add the Financial District.
