I've stayed here before and think it's a great deal, especially for PRICELINE rates (which are generally in the $45-55 neighborhood, depending on season and availability.) Additionally, the property apparently recently renovated (and I thought it was pretty nice prior to that.) Most rooms should have refrigerators, which is also a plus.

Thank you for the follow-up; in terms of shopping, the high-end mall Northbrook Court is about 5-7 minutes due East on Lake Cook. Outlet Malls are Gurnee Mills, which is a fair drive North and Premium Outlets in Pleasant Prarie, north of the WI border on 94. There's also Vernon Hills, which is an easy drive North from this Hyatt - Lake Cook West to Milwaukee Ave, North on Milwaukee Ave to 60. That has a very nice core mall (Westfield Vernon Hills), and several mid-sized malls around it.

There's also Old Orchard (http://www.westfield.com/oldorchard/) and the Glen (http://www.theglentowncenter.com/), two high end Malls not far S/SE - both are outdoor malls.
