mike lin
Hi,Could someone share tips for getting the best deal in New Orleans? I'm thinking of staying there for 2 nights, 7/27-29. Should I use HOTWIRE or PRICELINE? Thanks. Link to comment
tigersbh
I get the best deals using Priceline, in the downtown area. Be sure and use the PRICELINE link from this site. Link to comment
thereuare
Should I use HOTWIRE or PRICELINE?Welcome to BetterBidding! It depends upon your needs and how flexible you are... PRICELINE is usually cheaper than HOTWIRE but you need to be willing to accept any hotel in the zone at the star level (or higher) that you bid... whereas HOTWIRE typically costs a little more but you're told the amenities that the hotel has before your purchase (so if something like a Pool onsite is important to you, you can ensure a pool by choosing a hotel that shows this amenity). As well, by using the amenities shown by HOTWIRE you can often take a guess as to what hotel is being offered.Based upon the above, which service do you think it better for your needs this trip? What is your maximum budget (per nite before taxes/fees)?Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
