buteos Posted July 25, 2012 Report Posted July 25, 2012 I was trying for a 2.5 star hotel in downtown Buffalo. I'm flying out of BUF Monday morning, and found most of the "airport" hotels with pretty high posted prices, even on HOTWIRE(used your link) And I wanted to avoid the Millennium.Most downtown hotels have airport shuttles, except for the Adam's Mark, And that's what I ended up with. I will be either taking a bus or a taxi but at least there's things to do and see downtown versus the suburban hotels. The Adam's Mark was run down the last time I was there but the location is nice.

sweetcurves Posted July 30, 2012 Report Posted July 30, 2012 Buteos, the hallways of the Adam's Mark are TERRIBLE, but ask for a renovated room. It's pretty nice although the bathroom is darker than the bat cave and could use a better update. But last time I stayed there I got a reno'd room and the beds were nice, new flat screen tv etc.
buteos Posted August 3, 2012 Author Report Posted August 3, 2012 Sweet Curves, I tried to get an upgraded room but the front desk wouldn't do it. Gave me one of the noisier rooms as far as traffic goes. The hallways seemed to have been redone, but my room still had a tube (!) TV
