I have been bidding for 2 rooms (my husband and I and 2 grown kids) for these dates in USE, USW, and FD. I started at $105 and have gone up to $150. I assume I'm being totally unrealistic. Any idea of how high I will need to go? I bid on 3* in USE and USW with no success as well. I really don't want to go too much higher since we need 2 rooms. Is it less likely with 2 rooms and should we add any other area? Thank you!!

Unfortunately you've hit an expensive date range for San Francisco. How high did you bid for a 3*... also to $150?

I don't think you're too far off, but it depends if you want to go another $30-$40/nite for a 3.5* or 4*... or another $10-$20 for a 3*.

Thank you for your help. We went up to $180 for 3.5* and priceline came back with $228. We gave up and booked using points. It's a very busy time. Many hotels were booked.

Thanks again. We always go through betting bidding. Awesome site!!
