Priceline Hotel: 5* Las Vegas (Strip South) Vdara Hotel And Spa At Citycenter Las Vegas

Started out with bid of $65. Immediate reply to have me bid again at $90. I attempted $78 but came back refused(no attempt made). Added a zone and bid $72 no luck. Added another zone and bid $78 no luck there and at my budget. Decided to give it one more try & bid $82 to win! Was elated then i noticed it was a savings of just 23%!? Does this 5 star charge onlya little over $100 per night for a standard?!!!

Pretty happy with my win but curious about the resort fee. Can anyone confirm this is a one time fee & not charged each day? Any recent experience with the $20 trick at this hotel? Also does anyone have a suggestion as where to park since no self park available?

Have been on this site many times and very satisfied. Was one of those that got burned by the Summerlin 4 * re-bid trap. That was several years ago when I was new. Think I got it right this time but never got around to bidding a 4*!

I've had success twice with the $20 trick. Got me to one of the highest floors with a nice view of the fountains. One of the times I was offered an upgrade to a Vdara suite, but the view wasn't good so I just asked to move to the standard room with a nice view. Worth the $20 in my opinion.
