The Fall is generally busier, although there's a massive convention (100,000 approx) that ends after the first day of this period.

How do you know they will accommodate 4 people? Thanks. Im going that weekend and im afraid I will get one double bed as chicago has alot of small European rooms

If you indicate four people, the room should accommodate 4 - that may mean 2 beds, or 1 + sofabed or 1 + rollaway. If there is an issue at check-in, definitely call HOTWIRE. Chicago does have some older properties with smaller rooms, but quite a lot of new hotels with larger or at least average (for city)-sized rooms.
