Bid $12 full size rejected, 13 premium rejected, 13 standard accepted then got offer to upgrade to full size for additional $1/day. So $14/day full size

been bidding the past few weeks, and went as high as 18 but never got accepted, happy with this bid, just never dealt with National before so hope it's not too bad :)

have been bidding the last few week without success (went as high as 18). Tonight started $12 fullsize, got rejected, tried $13 premium got rejected, then tried $13 standard, accepted. Then was offered to upgrade to full size for a dollar/day, so total $14/day for the fullsize. Never dealt with National before so not sure how it'll go, but quite happy with the result (although hotwire offered 15.95/day for standard or fullsize) :)

Glad to see you're pleased with the deal you received for this rental. National is one of the major players in the rental car space so i wouldn't expect any problems.

Thanks for posting this, as we've been trying for a few weeks for a car in Maui for next month (8/29- 9/9) and having no success. Since I saw your post, I immediately bid $14 for Full size and instantly had my bid accepted by priceline. For me this ended up being with Alamo. I used the PRICELINE link here as usual. :)

i'm glad it helped. i would love to get Alamo!!! i hope National is not too bad. by the way, my rental is 9/22 - 9/29 (not 9/27)

LOL, I should have read this forum first! I bid on Priceline at $16/day for full size and was accepted for 8 days 11/17-11/25. HOTWIRE was $50 more.
