msb396 Posted July 22, 2012 Report Posted July 22, 2012 I am looking for a place that can accommodate 3 people (preferably two queen beds) for 8/10-8/13, 3* and up. It seems that when bidding on priceline it will only guarantee enough for 2 people, not 3. Thanks!

AaronJB Posted July 22, 2012 Report Posted July 22, 2012 Additionally, PRICELINE only guarantees double occupancy/1 bed - nowhere is this more true than NYC, where rooms are often quite small (sometimes small enough not to fit a rollaway.) If you need more than one bed, I would go with HOTWIRE, which is more expensive, but if you indicate more than 2 people you should get bedding for the entire party (2 beds, 1 + rollaway or 1 + sofabed.)You can contact the hotel after booking with PRICELINE to request two beds, but the chances in NYC of the hotel willing to offer two beds is unfortunately slim.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
msb396 Posted July 22, 2012 Author Report Posted July 22, 2012 Areas would be Chelsea, midtown east, midtown west, hells kitchen, MSG. Max 220 per night including all taxes and fees.
thereuare Posted July 22, 2012 Report Posted July 22, 2012 If you search HOTWIRE for triple occupancy does anything appear within your desired star rating, zones, and budget? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
