Right now the prices are still a little high. In doing a comparison it looks as though about a month out seems to be the best rate. I have one reserved right now with Budget for $230 taxes in, with Hotwire it is around $370 taxes in, about a month from now its $165 for the week using the HOTWIRE link. Link to comment

A more likely scenario is that rates for your dates are more expensive then the dates you're comparing them to.What is the rental rate per day (before fees and taxes) for the rate you have reserved? What is the rental rate per day (before fees and taxes) for the current HOTWIRE rate?
