kresi Posted July 21, 2012 Report Posted July 21, 2012 Hi,I need some help with the new priceline express deals.Any tips how to indentify those hotels? We (2 adults + 3 kids, 13 years old, 4 years, 3 years) will have a 1 night stay in Amsterdam. It looks like it's almost impossible to find a cheap hotel room where we could all fit in.So I booked 2 rooms (approx. $210) at the Park Plaza AMsterdam Airport Hotel, that I plan to cancel if I can figure out the priceline express deals.I used the PRICELINE link from betterbidding.com.Thanks
thereuare Posted July 21, 2012 Report Posted July 21, 2012 Are you looking for 2 rooms thru the Deals Express section of PRICELINE (5 per room is Europe be very risky... but even triple occupancy can be an issue at many European hotels)We don't yet have much data on the new Deals Express product from PRICELINE, but is there a current offer that is within your desired star rating, zone and budget? If so, what are the details (amenities, star rating, zone) of that offer? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. kresi Posted July 21, 2012 Author Report Posted July 21, 2012 Yes, I am looking for 2 rooms thru priceline express deals. There are 2 current offers:Schiphol Airport Area, 4 stars, $60 per night, amenities: Free Internet | Indoor or Outdoor Pool | Restaurant | Airport Shuttle | Fitness Center Schiphol Airport Area, 3 stars, $65 per night, amenities: Free Internet | Pets Allowed | Restaurant | Airport Shuttle | Business Center | Fitness Center Can you identify them? Thanks
thereuare Posted July 22, 2012 Report Posted July 22, 2012 We have not yet seen any Deals Express hotels reported to the board in this zone. There are not too many hotels in the Airport zone that have a pool, so my guess for the 4* would be the Crowne Plaza or the Nh Schiphol Airport, and to a less extent the Dorint Airport, but there could be others as well. The amenities for the 3* are too common for me to have enough insight to take an educated guess. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help.
