blindman Posted July 30, 2005 Report Posted July 30, 2005 You need to provide a little more detail!Check in dateCheck out dateHow many in your partyThe website rate for the 3* hotels in NJ for your intended stay.Wether you'de be happy with a lower * rated hotel in NJ ??
mongee Posted July 30, 2005 Author Report Posted July 30, 2005 May 5 nights stay affect the bidding rates or the wining?I am looking for 3* property in Jersey city from 8/10 for 5nights.I am going to raise the bid to $80 or $85?I feel it's because of 5 nights staying relatively long stay that keeps me away from wining. Will I be better off, if I go seperate the nights to other properties?
mongee Posted July 30, 2005 Author Report Posted July 30, 2005 Check in date- 8/10Check out date-8/15How many in your party-2Wether you'de be happy with a lower * rated hotel in NJ ?? Possibly but not lower than 2.5*Thanks for your advice, Blindman!
thereuare Posted July 31, 2005 Report Posted July 31, 2005 What is your maximum bid? There are certain nites i don't think you have a chance for certain nites (unless you're willing to pay close to 'traditional' rates), so what will you do if unsuccessful for part of your stay? mongee Posted July 31, 2005 Author Report Posted July 31, 2005 I guess I can pay $110 per night for maximum.Actually, I am going to N.Y. but since I have a friend I will stay in Jersey. If Jersey does not work, I am willing to stay in N.Y. as well.
thereuare Posted July 31, 2005 Report Posted July 31, 2005 My point is that i think you really only have a shot at one nite at the Hyatt (even up to $110/nite).If unsuccessful, i doubt you're likely to find anything in NYC within your price range either.Would you want just one nite at the Hyatt? What would be your back-up plan? Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
