I booked the 3.5* Theatre District hotel through Hotwire finally (got tired of waiting :) ). I was booked at Mela. Anyone have any experience there (Tripadvisor has it at 4)

Thank you for sharing your win with the board. As with most NYC hotels, especially those billed as 'boutique', rooms here are small but the location is great with two MAJOR subway stations within two blocks in different directions.
