justykreds Posted July 19, 2012 Report Share Posted July 19, 2012 Booked Palazzo last night (Wednesday) for 160. I opened bidding at $150 and bid in $2 increments until I reached $160. I received a notification for an immediate re-bid of $185 after my bid of $154 was unsuccessful. I declined and kept bidding until I hit it on the nose at $160 (total is $371.54 with tax).I had 11 re-bid zones to work with (didn't want trump or a 5-south) and I was unsuccessful the day before (bidding from 140-151 $1 increments). From my experience, I've always done my bidding on Tuesday or Wednesday night. The Priceline NYOP correlates to the hotel prices in their system and hotels usually drop their rates mid-week late in the night or early in the AM. I used the board PRICELINE link to bid BTW.Hope this helps someone! :) - justy Link to comment
