Priceline Hotel: 4* Oakland - Eastbay (Berkeley - Emeryville) The Claremont Hotel Club And Spa

Hi all,

Just wanted to share my first ever Priceline win! I needed a hotel in Berkeley (and was aiming for the Claremont, the only 4* in town anyway). I started with $95, 4*, just Berkeley-Emeryville. When that was rejected I went to $110 and added San Ramon. When THAT was rejected I went to $125 and added Richmond, which was the winning bid.

I'm a little confused about the hotel fees - it seems like they have an additional fee based on the hotel website, but I'm hoping this is all paid for minus parking.

In sum:

$125/night, for two nights, plus taxes, = $289

August 4-6

I'm sure you dealhounds would do better...onto the next!
