I'm looking for room(s) that can accommodate 4 adalts.

4 people including me, my bf, his brother, and his mother.

My bf and I can accept any kinds of beds.

But we would like to have 2 beds for his brother and mother, at least 1 king bed or 1 queen bed.

I prefer to have 2 separate rooms, or 2 beds in separate area, such as 1 bedroom.

I saw Murray Hill East Suites have one bedroom with sofa bed in living room, which is ~$260/night.

So this is our backup solution.

I'm just wondering if I can find a better solution with similar budget.

Our traveling date is 9/8-9/14, prefer MTE, MTW, UM/CPS.

UWS and UES are also accetable if necessay.

Our budget is $250/night, can raise to $300/night for 4 people.

Thanks.

Welcome to BetterBidding!

I don't understand your bedding requirements... i understand one bed (any type) for you and your boyfriend (i'm assuming one bed for you both)

For his brother and his mother... do they each need seperate beds, or would they be sharing a bed?

Sorry my description was not clear.

I would like to get two beds for bf's brother and mother.

But if that is too difficult, I think a kind bed or queen bed is acceptable.

Priceline only guarantees double occupancy... after that, bedding/room configuration is at the discretion of the hotel. It would be risky in NYC to bid for one room on priceline and assume you will be able to get a room with 2 Queen beds (or better)... as well, the room would not be a 'suite' with separate rooms. Many rooms in NYC only have one bid and can not accomodate a roll-away bed.

Hotwire will enable you to search for up to quad occupancy, but again, you can't guarantee that the two beds won't be 'doubles'.

Thank you thereuare.

I'm aware that priceline only guarantee double occupancy.

So if I bid on priceline, I will bid 2 rooms.

I just want to know if it's possible to bid 2 rooms within $300/night totally.

Except Murray Hill East Suites, I also checked Beekman Tower through the link you provided.

Beekman Tower offer 1 bedroom for $202/night, which is a great deal.

But I'm not sure if it can sleeps 4 adault and it's a little far from subway station.

So you would need to bid up to $150/nite for two rooms?

I don't think you'll be successful for these dates at that price, but you can certainly try, and if you'd like to do that we can suggest a strategy to follow.

The Beekman Tower is a nicer hotel than the Murray Hill Suites (imo), but the pull-out couch is a double and the bed in the BR could be either a queen or a double depending upon the room assigned.

Let us know how you'd like to proceed and we'll advise accordingly.

Thank you so much thereuare.

I need some time to discuss with other 3 people.

Since bidding 2 rooms will probably exceed our limit,

I think we will go to Beekman tower or Affinia Manhattan (which offer $220 for 1BR).

The pull-out bed is not a problem to us.

Can I ask how to identify a 'off the record' hotel from easyclicktravel.com?

They have some amazing price.

Hi,

when I try to book Beekman tower, it showed on request.

After one day waiting, the result came back and turned out to be sold out.

Actually I tried other 2 hotel including Affinia Manhattan and Shelburne Hotel.

The result were all the same- sold out. :)

Now I have a back up in Murray Hill East Suite, for $259/night, 9/8-9/14.

and another back up in radio city apartment, for 205/night, but only for 9/11-14. the other 3 days are not available.

Do you think I will have better opportunity if I 'm looking for 9/8-9/11 only?

Thanks.
