ike Posted July 16, 2012 Report Share Posted July 16, 2012 We booked on Priceline 7-14/7-15 the Hotel VQ in Denver for $60.00 per night. This is listed as a 3 Star hotel but that is definately a severe over rating. We checked in our rooms were on the 8th floor and the windows actually opened without any screens. We had reserved two rooms for our family but given the window situation and the fact that the rooms stunk so bad that it would be impossible to make it through a night we promptly re-booked through Priceline the Grand Hyatt for $80.00 per night which we gladly paid.The VQ should be avoided at all costs. It is in a less than desirable neighborhood, the hotel is old and clearly they haven't put a nickel into its upkeep. The mattresses are old, the carpet is in terrible shape and quite honestly this isn't a deal at any price. Link to comment
