Priceline Hotel: Help with Dublin Ireland Bidding Strategy Sept 12-17

I need some help with a bidding strategy for Dublin Ireleand.

Here are my details:

September 12-17 (5 nights)

Dublin City Center, Zone 1 - first choice

Dublin City Center North, Zone 2 - second choice

1 room in a 4-star hotel

Maximum bid: $100 for City Center and $90 for City Center North--I'm flexible if these numbers are too low

I've been watching HotWire and currently a 4-star in those locations for those dates is going for $250 (City Center) and $145 (City Center North).

Just for a reference, I am trying to book on PRICELINE for September 10th for 1 night at Center Center. I started at $75 and have worked up to $151 over the past week and was not successful. I tried this price at 5*'s and 4*'s. 4*'s suggested price was $211. It's likely your bid of $100 or $90 has no chance of succeeding.

If anyone has any updates on PRICELINE success in Dublin, please respond.
