Welcome to BetterBidding!

Seasonally Fall is a very expensive time of year in NYC. However, i just took a look and while prices are higher than your desired $150 budget, they're not really that out of line for there area (which generally is fairly expensive).

Based upon current rates i'm doubtful that you'll be successful for a 3.5* or better for this trip, we can certainly provide a strategy to give it a try, but will need a bit more information in order to do so...

1) Did you want to try for a 4* first and then if rejected try for a 3.5* property... or is your goal the least expensive 3.5* or better for this trip?

2) Note that when bidding 3.5* and lower:

MTE - some 'known' hotels can be up to a 15 minute walk to the subway... is this acceptable?

CPS - has the Hudson Hotel, which while well located, has notoriously small rooms (~140 sq. ft.).. is this acceptable?

Are these either/both of zones still acceptable?

At current rates i don't think that $150 will be enough for a 4*, but let's start with that and take it from there...

When bidding 4* in NYC you have SEVEN re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.

Select 4* MTE, MTW, Soho, Empire, CPS...

Bid $120, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $125, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $130, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $135, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $140, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $145, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $148, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $150

Any questions feel free to ask.
