moedin Posted July 12, 2012 Report Posted July 12, 2012 I am looking for advice to start my bidding with Priceline to getting a lower hotel rate. I currently have reservation with Hotel 71, nice property/location but the price is over $400 for both nights and it's really just something I can't accept!I am looking for a 4* hotel in this area.I was going to start my bidding at $55 based on the success the previous poster left with the Hyatt. Any suggestions would be a great help! Thanks :)
moedin Posted July 12, 2012 Author Report Posted July 12, 2012 Update: I opened a bid up for $55 in (Mill Park - Loop) area. Looking for next steps. My ideal maximum room pricing is $110/night.

moedin Posted July 13, 2012 Author Report Posted July 13, 2012 Thank you for the awesome tip! I will give this a try when I get home from work and report back! I found a much better deal at Swissotel with Travel Zoo which totalled $335 after taxes, which by Chicago standards for 2 nights is not bad without using something like PL or HW to book.Awesome board dude.
