MelanieSue Posted July 11, 2012 Report Posted July 11, 2012 Please help! New to this site and I am looking for 2 rooms for10/20/12 thru 10/21/12 in the downtown Minneapolis area. There will be 3 adults 2 children. Sister and I taking niece and nieces friends to see Bieber and I'm thinking hotels will book fast. Any suggestions for Hotwire vs Priceline? There is a 4.5 star on Hotwire right now for 109 per rm per night. Sold I take it or bid on Priceline??? Please help :)
AaronJB Posted July 11, 2012 Report Posted July 11, 2012 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)If you need more bedding than one bed per room, I would go with HOTWIRE, which allows one to indicate the amount of people in the room vs PRICELINE, which only guarantees 1 bed/double occupancy. Please provide the complete list (scroll over see all next to the amenities on the listing) of amenities showing with the 4.5* listing and we would be happy to take a look and try to ID.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
MelanieSue Posted July 11, 2012 Author Report Posted July 11, 2012 Ok there is also a four star, the four star is $148 and is 4 out of 5 cuts rating on trip advisor with the following amenities:*smoke free Fitness center Restaurant Business center High speed Internet Golf nearby Access blind Accessible path travel In room accessibility Wheelchair accessible Accessible bathroom Handicap parking Roll in showerThen there's the 4.5 star for 109 with a 4.5 out of 5 customer rating on trip advisor with the following amenities:All of the above amenities with the Addition of: Spa services And accessible for deaf I would love to know what hotels they are. I don't really want to stay the le meridiem seems a little too posh for me :) Thanks!
thereuare Posted July 12, 2012 Report Posted July 12, 2012 I'm not currently seeing the 4* offered when searching HOTWIRE for your dates (and including 2rooms/3adults/2children in the search). I am seeing the 4.5* and for that my best guess would be the Graves 601 Hotel Wyndham Grand or the Hotel Ivy.Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. MelanieSue Posted July 12, 2012 Author Report Posted July 12, 2012 I guess i entered 4 adults 4 kids to see the 4 star because I wanted to guarantee I got 2 dbl beds
thereuare Posted July 13, 2012 Report Posted July 13, 2012 I see the 4* now... does it also show a Deaf Accessible amenity? The Radisson Plaza would be my best guess for this one. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know whatever you decide to do for this stay or if we can be of further help.
