Ashley8053 Posted July 11, 2012 Report Posted July 11, 2012 Hi there, I just did a Hotwire search for a stay in Waikiki Beach from November 3-5 (2 nights). I am interested in the top 3 results, which I listed below. Any help identifying these places would be greatly appreciated!4* Waikiki Beach Area Hotel, $151 per night ($224 other sites)Amenities: Near Beach, Pool(s), High Speed Internet Access, Accessible for the blind, Accessible path of travel, Handicapped parking, Smoke free rooms, Business Center, Golf Nearby, Accessible for the deaf, In-Room accessibility, Roll-in shower, Fitness Center, Laundry Facilities (Self-Service), Tennis Nearby, Free Internet, Accessible bathroom.3 1/2* Waikiki Beach Area Hotel, $146 per night ($220 other sites)Amenities: Near Beach, Golf Nearby, Accessible for the dead, Accessible path of travel, Roll-in shower, Pool(s), Tennis nearby, Free breakfast, In-Room accessibility, Restaurant(s), Accessible for the blind, Free Internet, Accessible bathroom.3* Waikiki Beach Area Condo, $138 per nightAmenities: Suite, Fully-equipped kitchen, Washer and dryer in room, Tennis nearby, Beachfront property, Smoke free rooms, Front desk, Studio, Air-Conditioning, High-Speed Internet Access.I am wondering if the 4* is the Waikiki Parc, I was thinking Outrigger until it said Free Internet. Any thoughts? I'm also trying to decide if a condo would really be necessary for the 2 nights we will be spending in Waikiki. Thanks for reading and for any help!-Ashley

Ashley8053 Posted July 17, 2012 Author Report Posted July 17, 2012 Thank you, I appreciate the help! Do you have any opinions either way versus which one is better?
thereuare Posted July 17, 2012 Report Posted July 17, 2012 I've been to Waikiki but haven't stayed at either of these properties and they seem to get comparable reviews. The style of the Waikiki Parc looks a little more modern to me and i would probably go with that one, even if just for the slightly higher star rating for the same/similar price (but i don't have a strong feeling one way or the other)Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know what you decide or if we can be of further help. Ashley8053 Posted July 20, 2012 Author Report Posted July 20, 2012 Thanks for being so helpful with my last request. I clicked the HOTWIRE link again today to do another check of options and there is a new one listed:4* Waikiki Beach Area Hotel, $171 per night ($224 other sites)Amenities: Beachfront Property, Restaurant(s), Spa Services, Accessible Bathroom, Fitness Center, Business Center, Accessible for the Deaf, Pool(s), Laundry Facilities (Self Service), Free Internet.I love that this is beachfront, Any ideas??Thanks!
thereuare Posted July 21, 2012 Report Posted July 21, 2012 Best guess for this property would be the Outrigger Reef on the Beach.... if you're looking for Beachfront i wouldn't hesitate given the 4.5/5.0 TA rating and the 100% recommendation from previous HOTWIRE guests. Even if it's not the Outrigger Reef on the Beach, it should be a good quality/experience.Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Ashley8053 Posted September 19, 2013 Author Report Posted September 19, 2013 None of those ended up being options I wanted so I didn't book. Thanks for the help though. I would have hated to book and been disappointed!
yellowdog Posted September 19, 2013 Report Posted September 19, 2013 Thanx for the follow-up and closing this thread. Please remember to always follow-up your threads with whatever you end up doing, even if you chose to book direct, cancel your trip, etc.It would be more helpful to others if you included what you did do for this stay, perhaps it will give another user an idea for when they're having trouble with their own staysPlease use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your purchases and searches.Yellowdog.
