Matt in Boise Posted July 10, 2012 Report Posted July 10, 2012 Bid on two rooms for one night. My first bid was accepted. I was a bit shocked, since the supposed minimum bid for a 4* is $40. Taxes and fees for both rooms was $17.22. Hotel has a resort fee of $10/room/night, but I was planning for something like that, since a lot of hotels in Reno are like that.Hotwire is $38/night, so I wasn't going to bid $40.I think I may have overbid (which I always assume is the case when my first bid is accepted). Has anyone else been successful bidding less than $40/night for a 4*, especially in Reno? I think the minimum bid for a 4* in Reno might be as low as $28. I'd love for someone to refute or confirm that.

thereuare Posted July 18, 2012 Report Posted July 18, 2012 txcaor,Welcome to BetterBidding! This win was obtained at least over one week ago, so it's possible that inventory and pricing has changed since then (or it could be the 1room vs. 2rooms, but that is less likely the explanation)If you would like help with your own stay please start a NEW TOPIC and we will assist you there. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Thanks.
