Hi Guys,

In the weekend of September 28 through September 30th, my girlfriend and I are planning on spending a weekend in downtown Boston.

I was planning on using Priceline for our hotel, in downtown Boston.

I've already tried:

Boston Common - Theater District, 4* and 3.5* up to $150 and 3* up to $120

Boston Harbor Front - Aquarium, 4* and 3.5* up to $150

Boston Copley Square - Back Bay, 4* and 3.5* up to $150

All those bids got refused.

What would you guys advice me to do, raise my bids or wait a couple of weeks, so that we get closer to the dates of stay?

Hope to hear from you.

Happy Priceliner - Menno

I'm headed up Oct 18-21. I've tried those same areas, 3.5* and 4*, up to $200 with no luck. From what I've read its just a very expensive time of year. I'm just going to keep trying and hope there are some last minute deals as it gets closer.

Its the peak of the foliage season.

Consider staying in Natick/Framingham or Burlington/Lexington.

These are about 20 minutes away from downtown, without traffic and you can get a 4 star around $100 (Westin Waltham, Hilton Dedham, etc.)
