FlyingOnTheGround Posted July 9, 2012 Report Posted July 9, 2012 Successful bid on July 7th, using the BiddingHelper.com tool.Previous bids up to $165 per night for a 5* hotel on the same dates in Chelsea - Knightsbridge, Mayfair-Soho, Bloomsbury-Marble Arch, and Notting Hill-Bayswater zones were rejected, so I started a new bid for a 4* hotel. Started bidding at $83, and got an immediate counter-offer of $108. I didn't take the counter-offer and increased my bids incrementally using free rebid zones and other zones I was willing to accept (Kensington-Earl's Court, Notting Hill-Bayswater, Chelsea-Knightsbridge, Bloomsbury-Marble Arch). Bids up $95 per night were rejected.Successful bid was $97.00 per night, with taxes and fees of $109.25, for a total of $594.25.Lowest rate online for that hotel on those dates was $1,721.00 total.
