bluewhale Posted July 8, 2012 Report Posted July 8, 2012 This is my first time using HotWire/Priceline and this site really helps me understand the process. I didn't expect to get this hotel as it is listed under the Midtown Central zone. I was hoping for a more modern hotel and was a bit disappointed with the result. But the hotel just completed a renovation in June, so hopefully, it will be better than I thought.Amenities:Smoke Free RoomsFitness CenterRestaurant(s)High-Speed Internet Access
thereuare Posted July 9, 2012 Report Posted July 9, 2012 Welcome to BetterBidding!Congratulations on your success! This hotel sits right on the (new) border of the Times Square zone, and I had commented earlier today in this Hotwire NYC that i thought this property was now in the Times Square zone (but couldn't be certain as the HOTWIRE map didn't zoom in far enough to confirm) Always feel free to ask the board for help or confirmation of the hotel you think you may be receiving... a second set of eyes never hurts. This is a historic hotel with a lot of charm and the lobby bar can draw a crowd at times, but if the scene is not to your liking you can head across the street to the Royalton which has a more modern feel.Thank you for sharing your win with the board and helping us confirm the new zone for this property in the Hotwire Hotel List. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Enjoy your stay. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
