I don't necessarily NEED a condo and I'd prefer to be as low as possible (price wise), but I would consider $200 if I was confident that the property would warrant that much.

You may be able to do as well as HOTWIRE by looking at the individual hotel websites. I identified the Avista in NMB on nights we were going and the rate was over $200.

They had a special on Travelzoo and I ended up booking a spacious one bedroom of my choice for $178 a night.

Just checked Travelzoo. They still have the Avista starting at $149 for oceanview and $159 for oceanfront.

They also have the Hotel Blue oceanfront for $119.
