Priceline Hotel: 3* Des Moines Marriott Downtown

We are looking to book two rooms in Des Moines for the Iowa-ISU weekend for the nights of September 9th and 10th. We don't care too much where we are in DM but would prefer a 3*.

Could you please suggest a bidding strategy? Our max price would be about $60/room.

Well Hotwire has a 3.5* (believed to be the Sheraton) for $67/nite, so you won't need to go that high.

In addition to bidding Downtown and West, you have two re-bid zones at the 3* level. This is how i would bid:

Select 3* West...

Bid $40, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $45, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $50, if rejected close browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.

Select 3* Downtown...

Bid $40, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $45, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $50, if rejected close browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.

Select 3* West and Downtown...

Bid $55, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $60, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $65.
