Priceline Hotel: Same day bidding

Have any of you tried bidding on priceline on the day of the stay? My preferred location would be below the Central Park, above Canal. No preference as to East or West. 4 stars to 3 and half would be preferable. Thank you for your input.

I normally book hotels in NYC through PRICELINE at about 40% off.

I'm assuming you mean Hotels.com for which we have a link in the Support Page... please check there and use the links there whenever possible to begin your future travel purchases.

However, i'll add that a 'Buy 10 Get 1 Free' offer comes out to savings of less than 10%, and the deals obtained thru PRICELINE and HOTWIRE are almost always more than that.
