Priceline Requests

Hello all,

I have never used the priceline before and I did not know they keep your requests in their files.

I have requested multiple times and they all got recorded in their system. I was not able to get

the rental car for my requested price.

What I need to know, does these requests mean anything now. Can I ignore these requests and go

get a car from somebody else?

If your bids were not accepted by Priceline, you should be able to proceed with any other method of purchase as if you had never made a bid.

The only possible exception - and I may have the facts a bit wrong here - I can think of is that your credit card might have a temporary authorization for the full bid on it that does not get removed for about 24 hours (I think). If you were very close to your credit limit there might be some difficulty using it - but even this is dependent on your credit card.

Nobody will know of your priceline requests and they do not affect your credit card unless booked... it does not affect your ability to get a car thru any other source.
