Hotwire Hotel: 4* Vancouver (Downtown West) Sheraton Wall Centre

We are planning a trip to Vancouver Sept 20-23, 2012. We would like to stay Downtown.

I have checked Hotwire a couple of times and played with Priceline just to see what things were looking like.

How far in advance should I really get serious? Is it too soon?

The PRICELINE FAQ discusses purchase timing in greater detail. It's certainly not too far off to start looking at the discount services if you are willing to accept a non-refundable purchase.

What would be your desired budget per night? Additionally, if you have made any bids on PRICELINE, what bids have you made so far (zone/star rating/bid)

I am looking for a 4* in downtown Vancouver for September 20-23, 2012

I have tried Priceline up to $120 with no success.

Hotwire currently has a 4* for $132.00

What hotel would you think this is?

Am I too early for Priceline or is the fact that this is a weekend near the end of cruise season going to make it harder to get a better deal?

Can you confirm the exact zone for the above HOTWIRE listing?

I don't think it's too early for this time period - this may just be a busy specific weekend/period.

This was the Downtown vancouver West zone.

My guess is that this may be a new amenity set for the Sheraton, Coast Coal Harbour or Hyatt. Unfortunately, a tripadvisor rating is not showing for this listing, which may have helped narrow down the possibilities.
