Go Clippers Posted June 27, 2012 Report Share Posted June 27, 2012 I noticed something strange when researching car rentals through Hotwire to PWM (Portland, Maine). I am planning a trip there from July 8 through July 13 and right now, the cheapest car rental costs $55 per day (total price of $362). However, if I change the trip period to June 30 through July 13, the cost per day drops to $17 (total price of $319). What happens if you don't pick up a car on the day that you are scheduled to? Do they drop your reservation? Link to comment
