asandova
Hi I wanted to share my bidding experience with the Comfort Inn Gunston Corner in Lorton VA for the weekend of 6/22 for 3 nights. I checked first in Hotwire and I saw only one option for $62/night and I figured it had to be this hotel since it's the only one in the area and it fit the description and amenities (free WiFi, free Breakfast, pool). I started my bid at 45 but it was rejected and then increased to 50 by adding the Woodbridge area as I could compromise adding 10min to my commute to visit the family plus the hotels in Woodbridge were teh same or better. That second bid was also rejected so the next next day I went for $55 and I got the room so I was happy to save $45 when compared to their std rate. The rooms were ok, not bad not great and the breakfast was decent, the only issue I had was that they did not replenished shampoo or soap, maybe to save on cost so I had to ask for it in the lobby.Regardsasandova Link to comment
