lynnw Posted July 25, 2005 Report Posted July 25, 2005 Purchased Waikiki Beachcomber hotel last week for $81, but noticed a drop in price to $79 two days later.Amenities: Near Beach/Pool/Laundry (self service)It seems to right in the middle of everything, so hoping it will be OK.

jiji Posted August 16, 2005 Report Posted August 16, 2005 This property is on Kalakaua Avenue right across from Waikiki Beach.There is about a 50 yard walk to the beach, it is right in the middle of Waikiki. I would guess that any Hotwire or Priceline winner would be assigned a lower floor without much of a view. IMHO, try to ask nicely for a Mauka (mountain) view. Your room will be much quieter! Kalakaua is 4 lanes of one-way, 24 hour traffic.Enjoy your stay!
