joanna11 Posted July 25, 2005 Report Posted July 25, 2005 I've been doing this on my own for about a week. I'm up to $75 and no luck. I really want to be in the downtown area so changing zones won't work. What should I do?
joanna11 Posted July 25, 2005 Author Report Posted July 25, 2005 Me again. I read the great info about adding a zone that doesn't have anything in the star level you're bidding on so I went back and bid $80 and $85. No luck. Maybe there's something going on in Vancouver that Saturday. Any tips?

joanna11 Posted July 25, 2005 Author Report Posted July 25, 2005 Glad to have found this site! I have a backup reservation at a Quality Inn near the airport. It's about $100 Canadian. I don't have a max in mind...but I don't want to go too much higher. And I keep reading -- here and on a cruise website -- about people getting great hotels in downtown Vancouver for $80 -$85.
thereuare Posted July 26, 2005 Report Posted July 26, 2005 Rates are always date specific, and for your date they are higher than usual... i'd assume that the deals that you have seen others get are not for the same date as your own stay?
