milehighmurph Posted June 25, 2012 Report Share Posted June 25, 2012 I've been checking on prices for DEN for over a month - both on Hotwire and through bidding on Priceline. I'm traveling on 7/23-7/30 with both the arrival and return at 7pm. We need something at least as large as a standard. Prices, however, have been off the charts. I bid up to $42 the other day and still no luck. A couple months ago I got a car from Dallas for $14. Anybody know whats going on? Please advise... Link to comment

fritzeg Posted June 25, 2012 Report Share Posted June 25, 2012 I've been trying to book a hotel 07/21-07/25 downtown as well and prices are up. Found out there is a huge national convention there 20-25 so many of the cars may already be booked thus the higher price. Link to comment
