Priceline Hotel: 4* Toronto (Downtown South) The Fairmont Royal York

Priceline Toronto Downtown North - South (both areas) Aug 2-Aug 8th.

$90 got rejected

$100 got rejected

$110 got rejected

$118 got accepted.

Was expecting the Hyatt, got Fairmont Royal York instead, which i believe has better reviews than the Hyatt.

I don't know what normal priceline rates are for August for TO but the best hotwire rate for a 4* downtown was about $144.

I will now put in a request for 2 double beds - we have 2 young kids.

Any tips anyone for getting a priceline rental from the Toronto airport? I've been bidding $55 per day for a minivan, full size SUV or standard SUV and most companies are asking over $100 per day!!!! Seriously?
