The Radisson Quad City Plaza Hotel has a large stunning atrium with an abundance of trees and plants. A waterfall cascades between the glass elevators. The rooms surround the beautiful atrium. Every Sunday they have a Jazz Brunch with a festive live band in the restaurant located on the main floor. This hotel overlooks the Mississippi River and is across the street from a large riverboat casino.

We requested a river view, which was wonderful to watch the street and river activities below, from our window. There are also rooms with an atrium view (but the other side of the hotel has no view to offer but the parking garage).

Our nice sized room had a large sofa couch as well as a king bed and desk. There is a small coffeemaker in the room.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available in the hotel's restaurant as well as room service. They also serve pizza. There is a bar/lounge, whirlpool, sauna and an indoor pool leading outdoors to a sundeck.

There is key card parking on site and across the street at a parking garage with a small one time fee to use either one.

At the riverboat casino across the street (easy walking distance) they serve a very reasonably priced buffet for breakfast, lunch or dinner ( it is separate from the smoke and gambling). I thought the $3.95 breakfast buffet with generous made-to-order omelets, and music by a pianist, was a great way to start the day.

We truly enjoyed everything about our stay here and are making plans to return with friends. Our only regret is that our room wasn

Just a few afterthoughts about this hotel that I forgot to mention. It also has a nice well equipped exercise room and gift shop. A complimentary USA Today and local paper is delivered to you door on wkday mornings. Internet access is available in the room.

We stayed on the 2nd floor.
