aguillen26 Posted August 2, 2012 Author Report Posted August 2, 2012 I am going to be in Hawaii 6/24/13-6/30/13 I know I cant bid yet but i can as of this Saturday. My question is what are the re-bid zones if I am wanting to stay on Waikiki Beach? also is the Sheraton Waikiki considered a Resort or 4*? I am only looking to stay in Waikiki Beach 4* or above including resort. Thanks for any info

aguillen26 Posted August 3, 2012 Author Report Posted August 3, 2012 Links Clicked. Could you please inform me the best way to bid this tomorrow?
thereuare Posted August 4, 2012 Report Posted August 4, 2012 You need to know how to determine your re-bid zones on your own as new hotels can be added, and other hotels upgraded/downgrade, so the re-bid zones can change at any time. See this thread on re-bidding, Priceline Re-Bidding Explained, and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board (NOTE: when bidding Resort in this region you have FOUR re-bid zones). If you read the previous link and are confused just post back and we'll break it down further for you. Also, you should use MAPS and HOTELS.com and/or BiddingHelper.com to determine the best price you're able to find at an acceptable hotel thru conventional booking channels... then this can serve as your upper bidding limit (which is a better strategy than "i have no limit and will bid until accepted")Let us know if you're able to identify, and/or confirm, your re-bid zones, as well as your maximum bid, we'll the suggest a strategy for you to follow. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
