Hotwire Hotel: 2.5* Tulsa (Central) Comfort Suites East/I-44

Just won a 2.5 star for Tulsa, Ok. (Central) on Hotwire for $40.00. Ended up being Comfort Suites East I-44. Listed Amenities are Free Parking, Free Breakfast, Free Internet, Indoor Pool, Airport Shuttle, and Smoke Free Rooms. Just called the hotel as soon as I booked to request a room with two beds( seeing as we have 2 adults and 2 children for each room). The Front desk clerk was very rude and not very helpful at all and refused to accommodate. I'm a little disappointed with the location ( it's on the border of the location we selected)and the reviews aren't great. But, a descent price and with free breakfast guess I can't complain. I will post reviews after our stay.

Sorry to hear you weren't treated well on the phone. This property does charge more for rooms with 2 beds vs. rooms with only one bed and in these type of situations it's not that uncommon for hotel to be unwilling, or their computer systems unable, to accommodate your request for a room with two beds (although you still shouldn't be treated rudely). Apparently all room have a pullout sofabed that sleeps two people, so hopefully this should still work for your needs. If a room with two beds is desirable and you're willing to pay a bit more for it, the price difference at the hotel's website between a room with one bed vs. two beds is only $5, so you could offer to pay this difference to secure a room with two beds.
