I searched using the HOTWIRE links provided by you and came up with the same listings. :)

I also had a separate question that I was hoping you guys would know the answer to. If I were to book 1 room now, then book another room right after, would I receive the same hotel that I "won" from the first booking?

Not necessarily... what if the hotel you purchase is only offering one room for purchase to HOTWIRE? What if there are two hotels with the same amenities offering rooms to HOTWIRE at the same price and therefore HOTWIRE alternates from one purchase to the next.

More often then not you will receive the same property, but it's certainly not guaranteed, and there are many instances on the board where a user goes to make a 2nd purchase and either the same hotel is not offered (based upon a different amenity set) or what they believe is the same hotel results in a different property. You can sometimes minimize the chance of the same hotel not appearing for the second purchase by searching HOTWIRE for one room, then also search for two rooms and see if the same hotel appears and (about) at the same price... this at least gives a bit of insight that there is likely more than one room available for sale at that price; but still no guarantees.

I was planning to book my own room and having my friends book their own room. But after reading your comment, it seems like that wouldn't be a good idea.

I made a new search using the HOTWIRE link provided by you and came up with the same results as earlier, with the only change being the cost has risen up to $220 per night.

Update:

I purchased the two rooms for four guests and received the Millennium Broadway Hotel.

I wish I got the Crowne Plaza, but this will do. =)
