Jerryny Posted June 16, 2012 Report Posted June 16, 2012 My wife and her friend and I are looking to share a pre-cruise room in San Juan. Would there be a problem to bid on a room for 3 people? We are looking for 1/24/2013 to 1/27/2013. We are thinking of 3.5 stars up to resort. Any advice? Would the more expensive resort class be more likely to let 3 share a room?
Jerryny Posted June 16, 2012 Author Report Posted June 16, 2012 I just discovered your FAQ answers about priceline and 3 people to a room. Based on that it looks like either using Hotwire or bid for 2 rooms on Priceline.
AaronJB Posted June 16, 2012 Report Posted June 16, 2012 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)PRICELINE guarantees one bed/double occupancy. You can have more than two people in the party, but the hotel may not be able to offer two beds - you can request two beds after booking, but it's up to the hotel and they can say no. It may depend on the day and who you talk to. With HOTWIRE you can search for the amount of people in the party and guarantee bedding for the amount of people in the party (although that can be 2 beds or 1 + sofabed, etc.) Are you seeing a HOTWIRE listing/s of interest? If so, please provide the complete details (star rating, price before taxes/fees, complete set of amenities and zone.)Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
