dangr Posted June 15, 2012 Report Posted June 15, 2012 Already have a confirmed rental reserved (Budget, economy, $133.14 total) so I first bid $16/day for an economy (total of around $101) and then $18/day for a compact (total of around $111.) Both rejected. Have plenty of time on this one, but I doubt I'll go up much higher than $20/day, and I don't want any larger of a car, so I'm not going to re-bid today. Hotwire is currently showing $26.52/day for an economy, total of $142.21. Used BetterBidding's Priceline and Hotwire links for both searches and bids. Thanks!
thereuare Posted June 16, 2012 Report Posted June 16, 2012 I'd suggest using our Car Rental Checker to continuing to check 'retail' rates for any rate drops there... a rate drop may indicate a 'good' time to bid again and may also get you something cheaper than your current back-up reservation.Keep us updated on your progress and let us know if we can be of any help along the way. Thanks for using the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board.Good luck! Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
