thereuare Posted June 15, 2012 Report Posted June 15, 2012 Welcome to BetterBidding!Best guess for the 5* would be the Venetian or the Palazzo... both are excellent hotels, imo.For the 4* my guess would be Treasure Island, although i'd consider the Mirage as a 2nd possibility as well (but Treasure Island a little more likely, imo)Hard to say if the 5* is worth the extra $50/nite as it depends how you value $50... both the Venetian and Palazzo (and the other 5* North Strip properties) are all great and Vegas is one of the only places in the world where you'll get such a quality hotel for under $150/nite. It may also make your first trip to Vegas just a bit more special. On the other hand, if spending more on the room will take away from things you're willing to spend money on in Vegas than it's not worth it, as Vegas has gotten expensive (you can still seek out deals but where they used to be more plentiful you now need to seek them out). Treasure Island is still a 'solid' choice, but the other two will give you more of the 'over the top' Vegas experience. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help.
