chrisz
Im looking to stay near the University and hoping to use Priceline. On the hotel list the Doubletree (the hotel I was hoping to get) is listed as a 3.5 star but there are no options for that rating when I go to place my bid. Can you guys give me suggestions on what zones to bid if I want to stay near the University? Link to comment

Romelle
You can zoom in on that PRICELINE zone map. I did that. Then I Googled the University and found a map of that. I put the two side by side and got them roughly the same size. As near as I can tell, the University of Montana at Missoula is in the northeast corner of the Missoula zone (#2 at the moment). While it is irregularly shaped, the long measurement across the zone looks to be more than 2 miles. When bidding, you have to be prepared to accept any hotel in the zone at the star level (or higher) at which you are bidding. Depending upon just what "close" means to you, you might prefer using HOTWIRE, where it is possible to make an educated guess as to what hotel you might receive.Romelle Link to comment
